Oscar Film Festival 2010

The 3-day  OSCARS Film Festival 2010  was inaugurated by the
eminent film director Sri Kamal on Wednesday, October 6 at Kerala Sahitya Akademi Auditorium.
 

Mr. Kamal spoke well about the very positive attitude and response that audiences in Thrissur demonstrate towards films and film festivals. He urged the young filmmakers to make use of this opportunity to perfect their dreams of making films, small or big, doesn't matter.
 

Ms. Corinna Ybarra Arnold, the Cultural Affairs Officer at the US Consulate, Chennai presided over the function and introduced the inaugural film ‘A Serious Man’, directed by
Ethan Coen & Joel Coen. The function as well as the screening was well attended, practically `Full House' at Sahitya Akademi Main hall.

The Festival was for 3 days, from October 6 – 8, 2010 at Kerala Sahitya Akademi
